AcousticBass is a freeware convolution plugin designed to emulate an acoustic bass tone. Despite its unconventional programming approach involving raw multiplies, it provides a solid sound with two adjustable controls: closeness, which adjusts the weighting of the applied sound, and dry/wet. Its early design resulted in 15 samples of latency, but users are encouraged to experiment with its controls to achieve the desired effect....
