HighGlossDither is a DAW plugin designed to intentionally introduce distortions, crunch, and unnatural noise into audio. Its purpose is to emulate the effects of truncation dither by using a special quadratic residue sequence to distort quiet sounds. By creating a hybrid between dither and truncation, it allows users to achieve extreme tonal hype and enhance the perceived volume of quiet sounds while preserving their relative volume levels.
