RawTimbers Redux is a standalone DAW plugin that emulates the quantization algorithm of StudioTan's Dither Me Timbers. Its unique feature is its "non-dither" approach, which truncates audio data to a fixed point without adding noise. By controlling the direction of truncation, RawTimbers enhances brightness or darkness in subtle details, producing a "hardware sampler" effect with a distinct "old sampler tone" and crunchy texture.
