RawTimbers (and RawGlitters)

Description

RawTimbers and RawGlitters are DAW plugins that manipulate quantization, similar to Dither Me Timbers. RawTimbers truncates audio upwards or downwards to a fixed point, softening the audio and rolling off highs. RawGlitters does the opposite, brightening the audio and merging it with the noise floor. Both plugins drastically alter the quantization noise floor and can be used for 16-bit CD-making and double-blind testing to demonstrate audibility of different bit depths. While dithering is still recommended, these plugins provide a unique and legitimate alternative for shaping the audio's atmosphere....
